The company Friday released a free screening tool and set of resources to help people stay informed and take the steps to protect their health during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on the latest CDC guidance. Enterprises woo software developers to build and run businesses on code

It's a good time to be a developer in India. Not only are new emerging businesses, including technology startups, looking at developers as the backbone of their businesses, but also the developer community is now more involved in business decisions while also being approached by platforms to build applications, thus forming a highly sought-after community. When  Bhavin Turakhia , founder of enterprise messenger  Flock  launched its own operating system to enable third-party applications to be built on top of Flock, he organised a Hackathon, a  coding  contest that invites programmers across industries to participate and build solutions in a time window of 24 to 72 hours. “When developers across industries with varied interests come together to build applications over a new platform, they come up with the kind of use cases that can never be imagined by an internal team of developers who have build the applications themselves," says Turakhia. For many years, the end customers f

PHP VS PYTHON: WHICH IS BEST FOR WEB DEVELOPMENT IN 2020

With the continuous emphasis on web and mobile app development, 2019 has all been about customer-centric and responsive applications. As a result, companies around the world aim to select a coding language that is a perfect fit for making scalable websites. PHP vs Python is a major comparison that companies seeking website solutions have to make. Similarly, in 2020, it is also expected that web and mobile applications will continue to dominate the consumer market. As a result, two coding languages are giving each other a run for their money. The PHP vs Python battle has become an interesting one with developers from both sides having strong points to favor their language against the other. When it comes to  Custom Web Development Services , the two most popular choices remain PHP and Python. Client companies and IT firms have to keep the following aspects in mind while finalizing a web programming language. Ease of use/ syntax Reusability Developer Community Superior fra

Blockchain/IoT integration accelerates, hits a 'sweet spot'

IoT and blockchain may be a natural fit, but it will still take five to 10 years before kinks are worked out and the two technologies can reach their full potential, according to Gartner. Three-quarters of companies implementing IoT have already adopted blockchain or plan to use it by the end of 2020, an indicator of the growing connection between the two, according to a survey of 500 U.S. companies by Gartner. While the marriage between the two technologies has been expected to be crucial for  industry digital transformation, the adoption rate is happening at a “much faster pace than expected,” Gartner said. “Among the blockchain adopters, 86% are implementing the two technologies together in various projects,” Avivah Litan, a Gartner vice president and report author,  wrote in a blog. She called IoT integration "a sweet spot" for blockchain, the much-hyped distributed ledger technology. Among survey respondents, 63% indicated that the top benefit of the
